Quick Episode 28 Update

I screwed up!

Quick update for yall. I know it’s Tuesday and you’re expecting a brand-new Episode. Unfortunately, I did a dumb thing a couple of weeks back. 

I had a really badass interview with Andrew Rice, a former Marine turned design executive about his experience transitioning from military life to the tech world. 

Unfortunately, I did a really really dumb thing and selected the wrong input on my recording software before we recorded. So my audio sounds incredibly bad. 

I didn’t realize it until this weekend when I started mixing it. I spent some time this weekend trying to fix it, but unfortunately, nothing really worked. 

I’ve got one more trick up my sleeve. But unfortunately, the episode wasn’t ready today. 

So I’m hoping I get this out this week, but I’ve got a bunch of stuff going on for work this week, so it might happen next week.

But you know in my defense, I’ve somehow managed to crank out an episode every week for the last 27 weeks. I think we’re all entitled to a screw-up every once in a while. And I’m practicing a little bit of self-compassion. 

So, Andrew, I’m really sorry I did such a stupid thing. I will definitely double-check this setting going forward. But I want to give Andreaw’s interview the quality it deserves.
